Leandro Trossard ‘should be allowed to leave Arsenal at the end of the season’ – fans explode
Arsenal fans want Leandro Trossard to be sold in the summer transfer window so Mikel Arteta can upgrade the left flank position.
Supporters were far from impressed with Trossard’s contribution during Arsenal‘s vital 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League.
Defenders William Saliba and Jurrien Timber were the unlikely goalscorers either side of a Piero Hincapie own goal which gave Chelsea an equaliser on the stroke of half-time.
The three points maintains Arsenal’s position at the top of the Premier League table, with a five-point gap between themselves and Manchester City, having played one game more than their title rivals.

Leandro Trossard ‘isn’t the quality for title winning team’
Trossard was fancied over Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke down the left wing against Chelsea, but the 31-year-old was the first player substituted off by Arteta.
The Belgian forward had just three touches in the opposition box and won only four of his 10 ground duels during his 56 minutes on the pitch.
The position on the left flank has often been one up for grabs in Arteta’s starting line-up, with Eberechi Eze preferred in the number 10 role in the absence of captain Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal fans have called on Arteta to sell Trossard, who signed a contract extension at the club last summer, with one supporter claiming he put in a “shameful performance” against Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta faces selection headache ahead of crucial fixtures
Arteta will have a decision to make in Arsenal’s next Premier League match at Brighton as to who to start down the left channel.
Martinelli has often been more effective coming off the bench, but Arteta may want to rotate his starting line-up amid the quick turnaround in fixtures.

The Gunners are still in all four competitions this season, which could land them huge amounts of extra revenue if they can win any of them.
Arsenal will play in all four competitions over the next three weeks, including a Carabao Cup final against Man City at Wembley.
Arteta’s side will also travel to League One Mansfield in the FA Cup, and face a two-legged tie against Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last 16 over the next six games.
