Leeds agree groundbreaking sponsor deal

Leeds United have secured their first ever shirt sleeve sponsorship deal, it has been announced.

The Championship leaders have agreed a deal with Leeds-based business Southerns for its upcoming cup matches.

It was announced in the wake of their League Cup triumph against Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday night.

The arrangement for the office and workspace interiors specialist to be the official shirt sleeve sponsor is for cup matches only.

This season, EFL clubs have the opportunity to secure sponsorship for one shirt sleeve badge in each round of the League Cup and FA Cup.

The commercial partnership will also see Southerns enjoy an LED advertising package on the new perimeter advertising boards at Elland Road.

The Leeds business are set for more exposure after United’s triumph against Premier League outfit Burnley secured them a place in the last-16 of the League Cup for the second consecutive season.
