Hail Heckingbottom's new heroes – Leeds best possible XI v Sheffield United
Felix Wiedwald (Goalkeeper) – Heckingbottom is not going to cause a massive stir by dropping the Leeds number one, who has had a decent season. His only alternative is Andy Lonergan, who is still smarting from not getting a move this summer.
Vurno Anita (Right-back) – With Gaetano Berardi the latest Leeds player to get sent off, Anita will have to come back and play at right-back on Saturday.
Matthew Pennington (Centre-back) – Has suffered with injuries at Leeds this season but had done enough to convince Thomas Christiansen that he was a good long-term option. Will get a chance to prove himself to Heckingbottom on Saturday.
Pontus Jansson (Centre-back) – It looked like he would miss the Sheffield United game after going off with an injury against Cardiff on Saturday, but his brother has claimed he will be fit to play. A huge boost for Heckingbottom.
Laurens de Bock (Left-back) – Has looked a solid option after his £1.5million move from Club Brugge in January. Although options in defence are what Heckingbottom is short of.
