Leeds United fans have all said the same thing about the prospect of signing Matt Targett in the January transfer window after a new report.
According to The Athletic, the Championship side are interested in signing the 29-year-old who has been valued at £15million by the Magpies and have enquired about him.
Targett has had restricted game time for Newcastle, having only made seven Premier League starts since he joined the club from Aston Villa in 2022.
The full-back has only played 11 minutes in the Premier League this season, while also featuring once in the FA Cup.
Targett is a vastly experienced defender though with 163 Premier League appearances throughout his career, while he’s also featured 18 times in the Championship.
Leeds currently sit top of the Championship after 29 games as the Yorkshire giant aim to make a return to the top flight next season.
Daniel Farke is looking to bolster his squad or the second half of the campaign to give his team the best chance of earning promotion.
