Leeds player ratings v Wolves: Weak link is 4/10
By Dominic Toner
Football Insider rates the Leeds players after their 1-0 defeat against Wolves in the Championship.
Rob Green 7 – The goalkeeper continued his good form with a couple of good saves, including a one-on-one chance for Andreas Weimann.
Luke Ayling 6 – The full-back was short of the high standards he set this season, but tried to support the attack when possible.
Pontus Jansson 6.- He went pushing forward on the ball and left his side exposed, which resulted in Wolves capitalising and opening the scoring.
Kyle Bartley 6 – Booked for a late challenge on Nouha Dicko to get his 11th yellow card of the season, played as a striker late on.
Gaetano Berardi 5 – Made several mistakes in possession and nearly cost his side a goal by giving the ball away. Been one of the most consistent performers this campaign, but Taylor was introduced to inject a better attacking threat.
Liam Bridcutt 5 – Shown a yellow card early on after a 50-50 challenge and struggled to make his presence known in the middle of the park.
Kalvin Phillips 5 – He was very sloppy in possession and missed his midfield partner Ronaldo Vieira, improved slightly in the second-half.
Kemar Roofe 5 – The winger rushed several of his crosses into the box and lacked the end quality, not one of his best displays.
Pablo Hernandez 6 – The playmaker was unable to pull the strings like he normally does in home matches and couldn’t get into the pocket of space. Dropped back into a central midfield position when Bridcutt was substituted off.
Alfonso Pedraza 5 – The wide man battled hard and tried to test opponent Conor Coady, but it just wasn’t his day.
Chris Wood 5.- Didn’t really get any chances to test the Wolves goal and didn’t get the supply line.
Hadi Sacko (for Bridcutt 56mins) 6
Charlie Taylor (for Berardi 63mins) 6
Souleymane Doukara (for Pedraza 72mins) 6
