Leeds player ratings v Wolves: Attacking duo left chasing shadows in 4/10 displays
Substitutes
Matthew Pennington (35′) – 5: Coming on 10 minutes before half time as a replacement for the injured Liam Cooper, he struggled from the off as Wolves broke through. A solid display was undone when burned by the pace of Benik Afobe for the third goal.
Pablo Hernandez (45′) – 6: Starting on the bench after his injury layoff, the Spaniard was introduced at the half time break as Paul Heckingbottom looked to find a way back into the clash. His impact was minimal, although the Whites did see more of the ball with him on the pitch.
Caleb Ekuban (73′) – 5: Brought on to replace Lasogga after seeing himself supporting the German against Boro, the substitute striker struggled to lead the line.
In other Leeds United news, one favourite of the Whites has spoken out about returning to Elland Road.
