Liel Abada may have played his last league game for Celtic after source’s £10m reveal – expert

Frank McAvennie has suggested Liel Abada may have played his last league game for Celtic.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Hoops striker said that Abada will leave this summer if he wants a move and the coaching staff and Ange Postecoglou will know his plan.

The 21-year-old made his 100th Celtic appearance in the 5-0 win over Aberdeen on Saturday (27 May) for his 13th league start of the season.

Earlier this month (11 May), this site revealed that the Celts are prepared to sell the winger this summer and are willing to accept bids of £10million to let him leave this summer.

There have been enquiries from multiple Premier League clubs as well as strong interest from Ajax in the Israeli’s signature.

When asked if he sees Abada’s future at Celtic next season, McAvennie told Football Insider:As Ange has said anybody who does not want to be there will not be there.

There is a lot of talk about him but Ange sees him every day, the coaching staff sees him ever day so they will know if he is planning for a move.

If he is planning to get a move then he will go. He has just come back from an injury and is just getting himself up to match fitness because that takes a while.

You could be the best trainer in the world, running 15 miles every day, you go into a game it is totally different.
