Liverpool are the “ultimate selling club” as Mohamed Salah nears an Anfield exit.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham, Leeds and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson claimed that the Reds are better than anyone else at moving on top talent when the time is right.
Salah could be the next big-name exit out of Anfield, with Liverpool braced for a monster bid from the Saudi Pro League for his services this summer, sources told Football Insider last month.
The winger has regularly found himself on the bench in recent times, and was spotted arguing with Jurgen Klopp during the clash with West Ham on Saturday (27 April).

Robinson has praised the Reds for their transfer dealings with major players, using the likes of Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez as prime examples.
The former joined Chelsea after several years of top service in red, with the latter moving to Barcelona, having also starred at Anfield for some time.
“They’ve always done it haven’t they?” he told the Inside Track podcast. “They are the ultimate selling club, the world’s best.
“You look at what they’ve done in the past with Fernando Torres, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez and others, and you think how are Liverpool going to carry on without these players, where is the next step?
“But they’ve proven in the past that they can do it. They sell these players for big fees and then they go on and strengthen the squad.
“They maybe overpaid for Virgil van Dijk, but look at the service he’s given them, Alisson as well.
“So when players do leave for these big amounts of money, they seem to find these other players at the next level that come in. They just have a knack of doing it at the right time.”
