Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp told to ‘bang owners’ door down’ to seal double deal in January – pundit
Paul Robinson fears Liverpool would have to pay “over the odds” to sign Borussia Dortmund duo Jude Bellingham and Youssoufa Moukoko in January.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one suggested it would be worth paying a premium to sign Bellingham, 19, mid-season though.
Bellingham and Moukoko, 17, are attracting interest from sides across Europe after an impressive start to the 2022-23 campaign.

Football Insider first revealed (21 October) that Liverpool are interested in signing Moukoko and Bellingham next year.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur (24 October), the Reds will try to secure deals for both players in January.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of the latest, Robinson said: “They are both summer moves.
“I cannot see how that is going to get done in January. To have any chance of signing either player in January you are going to overpay for them.
“Bellingham and Liverpool are a great fit. He is a type of player who would flourish under Jurgen Klopp. They are crying out for a player like Bellingham.

“If I was them, I would pay over the odds to get him in January. They are so short in that area. They are not performing well.
“If I was Jurgen Klopp I would be banging the owners’ door down to get that bit extra to get it over the line in January. They need Bellingham as soon as possible.”
