
Liverpool fans react to Coutinho display against Bayern Munich

Philippe Coutinho played in a deeper role for Liverpool as they demolished Bayern Munch 3-0 on Tuesday evening – and fans took to Twitter to deliver mixed verdicts on his display.
The Anfield playmaker has been the subject of intense speculation about his future in recent weeks amid reports that Barcelona are willing to pay £134million for him as a replacement for Neymar.
He played 79 minutes of the triumph at the Allianz Arena as Liverpool produced another lethal attacking display in the Audi Cup three days after brushing Hertha Berlin aside at the same venue.
Coutinho delivered a pass for the third goal by substitute Daniel Sturridge, who produced a stunning chipped finish to put the gloss on a lethal team display.
The first two goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side had been scored in the first half by forward pair Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, who flanked centre-forward Roberto Firmino.
Much of the focus was on their brilliant Brazilian and supporters were eager to run the rule over his performance.

It was another day packed full of positives for Klopp, although one sour note was that Sturridge appeared to injure his thigh with his sublime finish.
