‘My heart stopped’ – Liverpool fans react as 24-year-old agrees personal terms for switch

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter after it was confirmed that Andre Wisdom has agreed personal terms with Derby ahead of a switch away from Anfield.
The 24-year-old has been on four different loan spells in recent seasons, but now appears to be on his way out of Merseyside for good on a permanent deal.
The Reds confirmed the news in a statement on their official club website on Thursday which said that the move is not yet completed but “is subject to a medical and the completion of paperwork”.
Wisdom has spent his whole career with Liverpool, but has only ever managed to make 22 senior appearances for them, scoring one goal in a Europa League win against BSC Young Boys in 2012.
He has previously been on loan with Derby, where he earned the admiration of the fans in his 38 performances.
Liverpool fans were a bit underwhelmed by the news on Thursday, as they were expecting a much bigger announcement from the club – with one supporter saying that his “heart stopped” as he was expecting something big.

Wisdom has been out on loan with Derby, West Brom, Norwich and Red Bull Salzburg during the last few years with varying degrees of success.
He struggled to make an impact with the Baggies while managing to win the Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup with Salzburg last season.
