Liverpool hit by Jude Bellingham blow after source’s new reveal – pundit
Alan Hutton has suggested Jude Bellingham could snub Liverpool and stay at Borussia Dortmund.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said staying at Dortmund next season wouldn’t be a “big risk” for Bellingham.
On 19 February, sources told this site that the 19-year-old has not ruled out staying in Germany next season amid growing speculation surrounding his long-term future.
His current club are working tirelessly to secure the England international to a new contract ahead of his current deal expiring in 2025.
Liverpool are huge admirers of the midfielder and are working on luring Bellingham to Anfield in the summer to be part of their midfield rebuild.
When asked if he would be surprised if Bellingham doesn’t get a big money move in the summer, Hutton told Football Insider: “I think there will be a lot of people trying to get Jude Bellingham’s signature.
“The one thing that I would say about him is that him and the team around him obviously have their head screwed on. They are not jumping into anything.

“He is so young, he has got plenty of time. He is going through the stages of learning and doing it really, really well. He is not letting the hype or money or anything like that get under his skin which is really good to see for a change.
“I think he will take his time, weigh up all his options and so far so good. He has been playing as the captain of Borussia Dortmund, so if he stayed for another year it is not that big a risk because he has loads of time on his hands.“
