Liverpool ‘playing games’ over Sadio Mane after £30m-plus Sky reveal – pundit
Alex McLeish has suggested Sadio Mane will be growing frustrated by the “games being played” by Liverpool and Bayern Munich in transfer talks.
The former Scotland manager, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 30-year-old will be unhappy if the Reds do not sanction a move over “a couple of million quid”.
As reported by Sky Sports on Wednesday (8 June), Liverpool have rejected a second offer from Bayern worth a potential £30million for Mane.

The report claims the Germans saw their opening bid of £21million, plus £4million in add-ons, rebuffed.
Liverpool reportedly value the Senegal international at £43million.
McLeish insisted Mane could grow frustrated if the Reds appear unwilling to negotiate over a move.
McLeish told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I’m sure he’ll be kept involved in all the reasons why. The talks, the value that Liverpool place upon him.
“He should be very, very proud of that. But at the same time, he’ll be looking to get out for a little as possible and just get a deal done if he’s craving the move that we’re hearing about.
“I’m sure that a club like Bayern can come to an agreement at some stage. There is a game being played. I’m sure Mane will be the first to know everything that’s happening.
“He knows the game as well. Equally, he won’t want Liverpool to stand in his way if it’s over a couple of million of quid. It seems to be nothing in this day and age in that particular league.”

Mane is out of contract next summer, meaning Liverpool risk losing him on a free.
He joined the Reds from Southampton for a reported £34million in 2016.
