Expert issues ‘non-negotiable’ Mohamed Salah claim after Liverpool latest
Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah’s ultra-disciplined diet is a “non-negotiable” in order to maintain his elite performance levels.
That is the view of injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Salah, 30, was named PFA Player of the Year for the 2021-22 campaign and is now widely regarded as an all-time great in Liverpool’s illustrious history.

As quoted by the Daily Mail last Saturday (11 June) the Egyptian believes his diet is central to his sensational output in recent years.
The forward allows himself only the occasional indulgence and steers clear of red meat almost entirely.
Dinnery claimed that it is no surprise to hear a world-class player emphasise the importance of rigid self-control when it comes to his eating habits.
“He’s micromanaging every single aspect of his life,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams.
“He talks about his diet. He says he loves burgers but will allow himself just one per month. That’s my professional career down the pan.
“But these aspects are things you have to control if you want to consistently be at the top level like he has been. He looks after himself so well and these are simply non-negotiables.”

Salah finished 2021-22 with 31 goals and 16 assists from 51 appearances.
He was the leading light in the Liverpool side that won the League Cup and FA Cup and were a result away in both the Champions League and Premier League.
