Liverpool told to complete Jude Bellingham signing in January amid ‘huge injury’ claim – pundit
Liverpool “need” a player like Jude Bellingham to revitalise their midfield.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Reds’ options in the middle of the park.
Liverpool are struggling this season, winning only four of their 11 Premier League games.

Bellingham,19, has less than three years left to run on his contract at Borussia Dortmund and has been continually linked to a move to Liverpool.
Sources told Football Insider earlier this month (1 October) that both Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold begged him to move to Anfield while on England duty during the recent international break.
McManus insists Liverpool need a younger player like Bellingham who can help out the current midfield.
“If they can find a dynamic midfielder who can help the older lads out, they need him,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“The midfield is out of balance. Most of them are over 30 or just about to get there and that’s not a bad thing but you have to question their fitness during this busy season.
“We know Liverpool have huge injury problems. They are down to bare bones in attack and the midfield could be the same shortly.
“Even the guy they brought in to boost the midfield (Arthur Melo) is going to be out until after the World Cup, he’s barely played.
“They need a younger guy in there to help out. Bellingham would be a good option for them.”

Liverpool return to Premier League action against Leeds United on Saturday (29 October).
The Whites currently sit 18th in the league.
In other news, Liverpool have been told to sign a ‘replacement’ for James Milner and teammate after what pundit has seen.
