Liverpool urged to sign ‘incredible’ Van Dijk replacement – ‘now we’re talking’
Liverpool might have to dip into the transfer market this summer to try and find a replacement for Virgil Van Dijk, and supporters believe the perfect player has been found.
Van Dijk is out of contract at Anfield in the summer and is currently free to talk with other clubs around Europe about a potential pre-contract agreement.
The Liverpool captain has been ever-present under Arne Slot, but the Premier League giants have still been unable to tie him down to a new deal.

Liverpool fans were left stressed after their recent defeat against PSG as the 33-year-old was spotted in the tunnel talking to hierarchy from the French outfit, sparking rumours that he could be heading to the Ligue 1 side.
Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson revealed to Football Insider that he had heard Van Dijk has signed an extension with the Reds, but that remains to be seen.
Considering the importance of his role within the team, Liverpool are now considering other options moving forward who could potentially replace Van Djik.

Liverpool are monitoring Borussia Dortmund star
According to Christian Falk of Bild Sport, Liverpool have Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck on their list of potential targets.
He is being seen as someone who could succeed Van Dijk at Anfield in the long term given that he is only 25 years old.
However, Liverpool are set to face competition from Dortmund themselves in signing him as the Bundesliga side want to give him a new contract to extend his stay at the club.

Liverpool fans want the club to strengthen the squad
Liverpool fans might be hoping that Van Dijk does put pen to paper on a new deal, but the reports of Schlotterbeck signing for the club have been met positively.
Supporters believe he is a “perfect player” to be linked with as they believe he is “incredible” and could fit into Slot’s team.
