Lucas Paqueta sends Jarrod Bowen message after West Ham victory vs Brentford
Lucas Paqueta has been quick to send Jarrod Bowen a message after he scored twice before West Ham United’s penalty victory over Brentford in the FA Cup on Monday.
The Hammers captain found the back of the net twice as the match ended 2-2 before a penalty shootout win saw the club set up a quarter-final tie against Leeds United.
The cup journey has been one of the few highlights of the campaign so far, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men still embroiled in a relegation battle.
However, with West Ham’s resurgence in form continuing in the cup, many were quick to react, including former star Paqueta.

While Paqueta’s departure may have left a sour taste in many fans’ mouths, he has clearly still got friends at the London Stadium.
This was seen on Monday, with the midfielder posting on his Instagram story a picture of him watching the game at the London Stadium against Brentford on 9 March.
In the image, Bowen’s penalty goal is clearly displayed, with the 28-year-old Flamengo star quick to praise his former teammate.

On top of this, he also tagged Bowen, which was followed by a fire emoji and another red love heart emoji.
Can West Ham keep hold of Bowen in the summer?
Ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that Bowen is likely to depart West Ham, even if they stay in the Premier League.
The captain will be joined by Crysencio Summerville, who is another player who has impressed in recent months despite their Premier League position.
Departures are expected at the London Stadium in the summer, regardless of the division they are in, after it was revealed that they made a loss of £104million in their latest financial accounts.
With Bowen and Summerville arguably being the two most valuable players they have, it is no surprise they are linked away.
However, if the Hammers were to win the FA Cup and hence qualify for the Europa League, it remains to be seen if this will be enough to tempt Bowen to stay as he continues to impress at the club.
