Man City news: Pundit points the finger at Jack Grealish after Uefa reveal
Kevin Campbell has claimed Man City midfielder Jack Grealish “needs to play better” if he wants to be included in the starting XI for the biggest games.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League striker suggested the 26-year-old is some way off the levels of Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva at the Etihad.
Grealish was a second-half substitute in Man City’s top-of-the-table clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

The £100million summer signing was also named on the bench for the first leg of City’s Champions League quarter final against Atletico Madrid.
Speaking to Uefa ahead of the second leg (12 April), Grealish stressed his readiness by pointing to the fact he has started against Liverpool, PSG, Man United and Chelsea this season.
When asked as to why Grealish has been overlooked in recent weeks, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “He needs to play better.
“That is what it boils down to at the end of the day. Pep is going to pick the team that he believes is going to win the game. If Grealish is not in it then it tells him that he has to step his game up.
“The likes of De Bruyne and Silva are top, top quality. They have been doing it for a number of years as well.
“Grealish is the new kid on the block. He is having to learn. I think he will be a lot better next season though, a lot better.”
