Man United news: Pundit shares ‘brilliant’ thing he’s heard about Erik ten Hag
Erik ten Hag has the “brilliant” man-management ability to improve Man United next season.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the club’s future.
As revealed by Football Insider on Tuesday (11 April), Man United are set to trigger Ten Hag’s £1.7million release clause at Ajax to make him their new manager.

The Dutchman, 52, has been identified by United as their number one target ahead of Mauricio Pochettino and talks have been held over a potential deal.
A United source told this site they expect the Dutchman to accept their offer to take charge.
McAvennie has shared what he’s heard about Man United’s potential new manager.
“I’ve always said I would have taken Conte but he’s no longer available,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He would have turned Man United in a season. Can Ten Hag do that? We have to wait and see.
“If he doesn’t do that then people will be asking questions. I’ve heard he’s not a big tactician but his man-management is brilliant.
“He’s apparently a good coach as well but it sounds like he isn’t going to complicate things.
“That’s what Man United need more than anything else, keep it simple and the wins will come.”

Ten Hag joined Ajax in December 2017 and has won two league titles with the club.
Victory on Sunday in the KNVB Cup final would also be his third success in the competition with a league/cup double still on the cards.
