‘Man United priority to sell Rasmus Hojlund’ – Fans fume at ‘shocking’ latest
Man United fans have voiced their frustration over Rasmus Hojlund’s performance in the 2-1 FA Cup victory against Leicester City.
Man United secured the win in dramatic fashion against Leicester, with Harry Maguire netting a late winner after Joshua Zirkzee had equalised for the visitors.
Hojlund started the match but struggled to make an impact, especially in comparison to Zirkzee, who impressed off the bench.
Following the game, Hojlund was criticised after the Leicester performance by pundits and now fans have also expressed their disappointment.
Fans have called for Man United to sign a new striker before and after Danish international’s underwhelming display, even more supporters have joined in demanding reinforcements up front.
Ruben Amorim faces attacking issues with striker struggles
United have been in solid form of late, winning five of their last seven matches across all competitions.
However, their striker situation remains a major concern for Ruben Amorim. Hojlund has managed just two Premier League goals, while Zirkzee has also only found the net twice.

Victor Gyokeres remains Man United’s primary transfer target, but with no attacking reinforcements arriving in January, a potential deal is more likely to happen in the summer.
Man United fans lose patience with Rasmus Hojlund
Hojlund joined United in the summer of 2023 for £64 million from Atalanta on a five-year deal, but he has struggled to adapt to English football.
The Danish striker has made 73 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 23 goals and providing just three assists.
Given the hefty price tag, many fans feel his goal return has been underwhelming. Following another disappointing display, frustration has boiled over among supporters.
One fan suggested giving an academy player a chance instead, saying: “Sell him [Hojlund]. Play Chido Obi-Martin for the rest of the season.” Another called for his sale “even if we have to take a 50% loss on him.”
