Peterborough owner Darragh MacAntony has made it clear that he has decided against sanctioning Jack Marriott's switch to Leeds United in the January transfer window.

has reported that Leeds and Hull are the front-runners to sign the prolific League One striker, who has netted a stunning 23 goals in his 38 appearances across all competitions season. MacAnthony, who rarely shies away from responding to transfer rumours revolving around his club, was asked by a Leeds supporter on Saturday whether he will let Marriott, 23, move to Elland Road this month. However the League One side's owner responded, saying "no" to the eager United fan, while also mentioning the Yorkshire club's 1-0 defeat to Ipswich at Portman Road on Saturday.
