‘Matthijs De Ligt to be sold after Paul Scholes confession’ – Man United fans

Man United fans believe the club must sell Matthijs De Ligt just six months into his career at Old Trafford after Paul Scholes’ latest admission.

United signed De Ligt from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window on a contract until 2029, but it has been a difficult adjustment to life in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old has been a regular in the United team, making 27 appearances across all competitions for the club.

However, De Ligt has yet to win everyone over with his individual performances at the club as United have struggled to build any momentum this season.

Club legend Paul Scholes recently told TNT Sports he would sell eight of the first-team squad, and De Ligt was on his axe list.

Scholes said, “He’s done okay of late, but I think I’d sell.”

Man United fans agree with Paul Scholes

De Light might be a relatively new face in the United squad but supporters backed Scholes’ opinion and admitted that it’s “very brutal but honest.”

Other fans claimed that they “agree with all his picks” while some said “Scholes will be proved right about him.”
