McManus issues ‘dangerous’ Liel Abada prediction after what he’s seen at Celtic
Celtic star Liel Abada must provide more assists for his teammates if he is to develop into one of the most dangerous players in Scotland.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the winger’s form.
Abada, 21, doubled his assist tally for the season by assisting twice as Celtic beat Livingston 2-1 on 21 December.

The winger has been in better form in front of goal, scoring nine goals in 24 total appearances so far this season.
McManus claims Abada must start providing more chances for his teammates.
“I think Abada is a very talented player,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He had a tremendous season last year and he has been playing pretty well this season too. You just want to see a bit more end product from him.
“He has a decent amount of goals but the final ball, when you watch him, when he’s trying to feed his teammates, it hasn’t quite been there this season.
“If he can nail that down then he can go to another level and be one of the most dangerous players in that league.
“Like I say, he is so young. There is no doubt in my mind that he can improve and then Celtic will have a hell of a player on their hands because he has already got a very good eye for goal.

“It’s just a little thing he needs to improve, that’s all. I think he can do it, it’s just a matter of time.
“Ange improves everybody and he knows what Aada needs to do now.”
On 27 September, sources told this site that the Parkhead club believe Abada will be worth £15million-plus next year.
