Mills tells Celtic to 'get rid' of star who's toxic in dressing room - just like Kane at Tottenham
Odsonne Edouard is becoming a toxic influence in the Celtic dressing room and the club must “get rid of him”.
That is the view of ex-England and Premier League defender Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after it was revealed Brighton & Hove Albion are in talks over a potential deal.
Football Insider revealed yesterday (5 August) Brighton want to complete a deal for Edouard before the Premier League season begins next weekend.
“It’s getting a little bit like the Harry Kane situation. you just have to get rid at some point,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“You hold your hand up and say ‘It’s not working’. Clearly, he doesn’t want to be there, he wants to go.

“He’s maybe not training as hard as he should do so he could be disruptive to the group in the dressing room.
“You know what, just cut your losses and get rid of him.
“Brighton would be getting a decent player. He’s not proven it week in, week out at that sort of level but he should be a decent player in the Premier League.
“Brighton play some good football but they definitely need some help up front.”
Kane was due back at Tottenham training on Monday but is yet to return and has had no contact with Nuno Espirito Santo.
Meanwhile, Edouard has been ineffective in his Celtic appearances this season and was dropped to the bench for their Europa League qualifier last night.
In other news, Celtic have secured a “game-changing” signing.
