Morgan Rogers and Jordan Henderson react to Jude Bellingham’s passionate message
Jude Bellingham is ready for Real Madrid to kick on after they recovered from a less-than-ideal start to the Club World Cup.
Los Blancos have been busy ahead of their FIFA’s revamped tournament, but new signings Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold‘s debuts came in a disappointing 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal in their opener.
Real Madrid have also signed Argentina youngster Franco Mastantuono from River Plate and he will arrive upon his 18th birthday at the conclusion of the Club World Cup, with further additions expected.

Bellingham celebrates ‘first win’ as Club World Cup history made
Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund‘s participation in comes in the wake of their match-up in the 2024 Champions League final, but the two clubs are now intertwined by the Bellingham family connection.
Jude Bellingham’s brother Jobe signed for Dortmund earlier in June and netted on his full debut against Mamelodi Sundowns, and the Bellingham matched this feat in Madrid’s 3-1 win over Pachuca on Sunday.
The Bellingham duo become the first pair of brothers to score in the Club World Cup as a result, and that bond has been made clear on social media after their displays for Madrid and Dortmund this summer.
Jude Bellingham scored the opener in the 35th minute against the Liga MX side and Arda Guler quickly doubled Madrid’s lead, and Federico Valverde added a third in the 70th minute prior to a late consolation.
Post-match, Bellingham took to Instagram (22 June) with a message that Jordan Henderson and Morgan Rogers both liked, and which said: “First win in the CWC, Thank you Charlotte! Hala Madrid”.
Real Madrid rebuild continues with Bellingham key
Departures are also on the agenda at the Santiago Bernabeu with Rodrygo potentially on the brink of a switch to Arsenal for north of £100millon, but Xabi Alonso’s full focus is on their Club World Cup exploits.
Rodrygo’s reported fall-out with Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe has heightened talk of a departure this summer, but it remains to be seen if either Arsenal or Liverpool will be willing to meet Madrid’s price tag.
The Reds may not be keen to do business with Madrid after Alexander-Arnold’s transfer saga, but after Liverpool received £8.4m to release him for the Club World Cup, a move for Rodrygo is not completely off the table yet.
