Senior player proves doubters wrong: Three things learned about Celtic in win v Hearts
NO NEED TO RISK DEMBELE
Moussa Dembele should not be risked in any of the Hoops’ matches until the Scottish Cup Final, after Odsonne Edouard suffered a hamstring injury v Hearts.
Brendan Rodgers did the sensible thing in subbing the Frenchman after Edouard’s injury, and with Leigh Griffiths also out, Rodgers must rest the 21-year-old until Cup Final day.
Dembele is too important a player to be worth risking an appearance in the Cup Final over, and the Hoops have enough attacking players in their squad than they can cope with his absence.
