Myles Lewis-Skelly reacts to Max Dowman message with Arsenal future decided
Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly has responded to Gunners prospect Max Dowman after his future with the club was decided.
Lewis-Skelly became the latest Hale End graduate at the club last season when he made the left-back spot his own following standout displays over his 39 appearances.
The 18-year-old’s performances warranted a new five-year contract, which he signed at the end of last month.
Thomas Tuchel also handed Lewis-Skelly his first England cap in March 2025, and he became the youngest player to score on his debut when he struck against Albania.

Dowman looking to follow Lewis-Skelly pathway
Dowman took to Instagram to share pictures of him participating in first-team training, which team mates Lewis-Skelly and Jurrien Timber liked.
The academy product was pictured alongside Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and captain Martin Odegaard.
The midfielder will be keen to follow in the footsteps of now first-team players Lewis-Skelly, Saka and Ethan Nwaneri in rising through the ranks.

15-year-old Dowman will become eligible to make his first-team debut this season and his training pictures show he has been given the number 56 shirt.
Hale End products boosts Arteta pool
Football Insider Verdict
Dowman could become the next player out of Arsenal’s esteemed Hale End academy to make an impact on the first team next season.
Recent graduates Saka, Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri have shown there is a pathway even in the strongest of Arsenal sides.
Arteta’s decision to hand starts Saka and former Gunner and academy graduate Emile Smith-Rowe helped save him from the sack in the early stages of his tenure.
Saka is now an undroppable member of the squad, whilst Lewis-Skelly is on course for similar status should he continue his impressive form into next season.
Despite interest from Chelsea, Nwaneri looks set to stay at the Emirates and the 18-year-old made his mark last season with his talent.
Dowman may get minutes in the league cup next season, but at 15 the midfielder has plenty of time to develop and make his mark.
The option to bring in fresh talent from the academy is a bonus for Arteta and his record shows he won’t be afraid to hand Dowman minutes should the right circumstances arise.
