Newcastle fans rage at PiF as Aston Villa deal agreed

Newcastle United fans have been left raging at their owners after Al Ittihad agreed a deal to sign Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa.

Al Ittihad are also owned by PiF, leading fans to question why they are agreeing deals which will benefit Newcastle’s rivals in the Premier League.

This comes while the Magpies continue to struggle with squad depth issues, as fans call for new signings to be made immediately.

The deal to sign Diaby from Villa is the latest in a line of high-profile players moving to Saudi Arabia for big money – something Toon fans insist is having a negative effect on the club.

Villa are seen as a direct rival to Newcastle in the battle for Champions League football, and a big cash injection will only help their chances of winning that battle.

Newcastle United fans rage at PiF owners after Aston Villa transfer twist

This is not the first time supporters have been left frustrated by the club’s owners, after Football Insider reported fans were raging at the PSR mess they had been left with.

On top of the building frustration, a lack of major action in the transfer window has led to calls for the owners to back the club further.

Fans took to social media where they insisted the club is no longer their owners’ priority, calling for them to spend money at St James’ Park rather than giving it to rival teams.
