Newcastle told to accept Miguel Almiron bid in next hours – fans react
Newcastle United fans have urged the club to sell Miguel Almiron after Charlotte FC registered their interest in the right-winger.
The MLS side have reportedly approached Newcastle about Almiron, but there is a gap in the valuation between the two clubs at the moment.
Time is against Dean Smith’s side as the MLS transfer window closes on Wednesday, which puts pressure on both clubs to complete a deal.
Almiron does have experience in the MLS and was named in the MLS Best XI during both of his seasons in the division.
The right-winger played for Atalanta United from 2016 to 2019, scoring 21 goals and providing 21 assists in 62 MLS appearances.
Newcastle fans want the club to make a deal happen for Miguel Almiron
Almiron has made 209 appearances for the north east giants, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists in that time.
Even though Almiron has been a regular feature of Eddie Howe’s team, many fans want to see him sold so the club can bring in an “upgrade.”
