Nicolas Jackson is blown away by Moises Caicedo in new Chelsea message

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson dedicated a message to teammate Moises Caicedo after he was rewarded for his standout performances this season.

Despite Enzo Maresca being under pressure, Chelsea have found form at a crucial stage, with hopes of securing a Champions League place and chasing European silverware still alive.

In their most recent 3-1 victory over Liverpool, Caicedo delivered another commanding display in midfield, continuing to prove why he’s become such a vital part of the team.

Jackson, who started the match, struggled to make an impact in the final third and is still searching for form following his return from injury — having scored just once in his last 14 Premier League appearances.

Nevertheless, the striker remained upbeat, taking to social media to publicly congratulate the midfielder after the Ecuadorian was recognised with a club award.

Nicolas Jackson shows support for Caicedo after he wins player of the season awards

After an outstanding season, Caicedo was named Chelsea’s Player of the Season as well as Players’ Player of the Season.

Jackson reposted an image of the midfielder to his Instagram story, captioning it: “Top. Hermano” alongside a blue heart emoji.

Caicedo has turned his Chelsea career around after a tough debut season following his £115 million move last summer. Under Maresca, he has grown into a key figure, building a strong midfield partnership with Enzo Fernandez.

The Ecuadorian has even stepped in at right-back when needed. While Maresca has faced criticism over his handling of Reece James, Caicedo has impressed in the inverted full-back role.

Despite Jackson’s recent struggles in front of goal, it appears Christopher Nkunku is now further down the pecking order at the club.

Football Insider revealed that the Chelsea are willing to let Nkunku leave after a disappointing second season marked by injuries and a lack of impact.

The Frenchman has struggled for game time, and sections of the Chelsea fanbase have already called for Nkunku to be sold this summer.

With a striker likely to be on the club’s wishlist, it remains to be seen whether the Blues will pursue a new starting forward or someone to compete with Jackson for the striker role.
