Nottingham Forest fans love what Carlos Miguel has done as footage emerges

Nottingham Forest fans love what they have seen from new signing Carlos Miguel after new footage emerged from Brazil.

In a video doing the rounds on social media, the 25-year-old goalkeeper was involved in an altercation during a game as he sent an opposition player flying with a shove.

Standing at six feet and seven inches tall, the goalkeeper towered over his teammates and opposition, with his imposing presence being made clear.

Fans were stunned by Miguel’s height and are now hotly anticipating his arrival.

The Athletic reported on 14 June that Forest have triggered Miguel’s release clause, with his arrival now expected to be confirmed.

Separate footage of his performance in the game, including two spectacular saves, was also doing the rounds on social media as excitement continues to build around the possible new signing.

Forest fans admitted they “love him already” and cannot wait for him to arrive, comparing him to former goalkeeper and fans-favourite Brice Samba.

With star centre-back Murillo also having arrived from Corinthians last summer, fans have been wowed by the business the club has done in Brazil.

In other news, Forest could hijack Wolves’ move to sign Che Adams.
