Oleksandr Zinchenko sends farewell message as teammate’s Arsenal exit confirmed
Oleksandr Zinchenko sent an emotional farewell message with his own Arsenal future now under increasing speculation.
Arsenal are preparing for a significant summer overhaul, with multiple arrivals and departures expected at the Emirates.
After finishing second in the Premier League for the third consecutive season, pressure is mounting on new sporting director Andrea Berta to deliver a squad capable of finally going one better.
While new signings are inevitable, a number of players are also set to leave. Kieran Tierney has already confirmed his exit from Arsenal, and another left-back could be following him out the door.
Football Insider recently revealed that Zinchenko is also expected to depart Arsenal this summer, with Borussia Dortmund among the clubs interested in the Ukrainian international.
The 28-year-old has slipped down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta, with Myles Lewis-Skelly and Riccardo Calafiori now preferred options on the left side of defence.
For now, Zinchenko’s focus turned to one of his teammates, as he shared a heartfelt message dedicated to another departure from the club.

Oleksandr Zinchenko sends farewell message to Raheem Sterling as loan spell ends
With the season now concluded, Raheem Sterling’s loan deal from Chelsea has come to an end, and the England international is set to leave Arsenal.
Sterling confirmed his departure with a message on social media, saying: “Thank you for making my family feel welcome [Arsenal].”
His post drew several responses, including a brief but heartfelt message from Zinchenko, who replied: “My guy” followed by a heart emoji.
Other Arsenal teammates also shared their support. Ethan Nwaneri wrote: “Good luck” while Declan Rice added: “Will miss you brother.”
Football Insider reported last month that Arsenal have opted against pursuing a permanent deal for Sterling following his dismal loan spell. The 30-year-old made only seven starts during his time in North London and failed to score in the Premier League, registering just one goal across all competitions.

Arsenal risk losing Lewis-Skelly amid Real Madrid interest
As Zinchenko edges closer to an exit from Arsenal, the club may also be forced to fend off growing interest in their breakout star, Lewis-Skelly.
Real Madrid are said to be monitoring Lewis-Skelly closely, with just one year remaining on his current deal.
Despite Arsenal opening negotiations over an extension following his impressive emergence into the first team, talks are ongoing—and uncertainty still lingers over his future.
