Frenchman Haidara’s future at the club is likely to be over anyway after featuring just three times since recovering from a long-term knee injury in January.
With Haidara, Paul Dummett and Achraf Lazaar all vying for a slot at left-back last season, the addition of Manquillo will make game time much more scarce.
A move to a Championship side or back to his home country is the most likely option for Haidara, who has been with Newcastle since 2013 after joining from Nancy for £2million.
