‘Pleasure’, ‘All the best’ – Rangers fans herald 22-year-old in confirmed Ibrox exit
Rangers midfielder Sean Goss has confirmed that he won’t be back at Ibrox next season after his loan spell came to an end – and Gers fans were quick to thank the midfielder for his brief stint at Ibrox.
The 22-year-old joined the Gers in January from QPR and quickly forced his way into Graeme Murty’s side before being frozen out after some poor performances.
“I would like to say a big thanks to everyone at Rangers for the opportunity!” Goss said on his personal Instagram account.
“A lot of ups and downs but I learnt a lot & loved my time here at the football club! Wishing the club and everyone involved all the best in the future!”
Gers fans were full of praise for the former Manchester United youngster – with one saying it was a “pleasure” to watch the midfielder play for the Light Blues.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:
Goss scored twice in fifteen appearances for the Light Blues during his spell in Scotland and helped the Light Blues secure a spot in next season’s Europa League with a third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership.
The midfielder will return to Loftus Road and hope to force his way into Steve McClaren’s side next season as they look to improve on last season’s 16th-place finish in the Championship.
