Ange Postecoglou could look for a “way out of Tottenham” following an explosive few days that has led to new question marks about his position, sources tell Football Insider.
Postecoglou, 58, was left infuriated by a large section of the club’s fans supporting the opposition as Spurs fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Man City on Tuesday night.
As a result, he is expected to be in the media firing line following a furious press conference rant aimed at the club and the fans, as well as a horrible run of form.
The Australian even turned on his own supporters during the City match as he vented his anger at them for failing to properly get behind the team.
Furthermore, there is a growing feeling at Spurs that opponents have worked out Postecoglou’s style of play and he may already have reached the ceiling of what he can achieve with the team.
Sources say there are growing signs he could even “look for a way out of Tottenham” this summer.

Postecoglou has been vocal in his frustration towards his squad and the senior management at Spurs, leading to growing tension.

Football Insider reported that Postecoglou could oversee a “huge” overhaul of the squad with nine players tipped for summer exits.
Meanwhile, sources also say at least four new signings are being targeted.
