Pundit ‘can see Bowen in a Liverpool shirt’ source’s transfer update
Noel Whelan has insisted Liverpool will have to pay through the nose to sign Jarrod Bowen from West Ham this summer.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 25-year-old would fit in seamlessly into the side at Anfield.
A Liverpool source told Football Insider on Thursday (13 January) the Reds are plotting a potential summer raid for Bowen and the winger is “keen” to join.

The Merseyside giants had scouts in attendance to watch Bowen net twice against Norwich City on Wednesday night.
The Reds are in the market for a versatile forward to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s squad and the West Ham star is among their top targets.
Whelan admitted he could “see him in a Liverpool shirt”.
However, he insisted it would be a “very expensive” deal to pull off.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “He’s been very, very consistent. He’s got better, he’s progressed.
“Now on that cusp of should he be playing for England? Should he be given the opportunity? In my opinion, absolutely.
“When you watch him play, you can see him in a Liverpool shirt playing across that front three, because of the style of player that he is.
“He would fit very well in at Liverpool. However, this won’t be a very quick transfer. It will be a very expensive one for Liverpool, I would imagine.”

Bowen has been a standout performer for West Ham this season, with five goals and nine assists to his name in 21 Premier League appearances.
Liverpool are also looking at Leeds United’s Raphinha and Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma.
