Pundit can’t believe Harry Kane could be leaving Tottenham after Bayern Munich news
Noel Whelan has insisted Harry Kane will not be tempted to leave Tottenham for Bayern Munich despite “flattering” interest from the German champions.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed a potential Bavaria switch won’t be as appealing as the now-collapsed move to Man City.
According to German outlet Kicker (10 July), Bayern Munich are eyeing a possible swoop for the 28-year-old in 2023 and see him as Robert Lewandowski’s successor.

Kane currently has two years left to run on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having signed a four-year deal in 2018 – with no sign of an imminent renewal.
He went public with his desire to move to Man City last summer (2021) but a mega-money move failed to materialise.
Whelan insisted Kane would want to remain in England if he is to leave the club where he has scored 247 goals.
He told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury: “Will he leave Tottenham for Bayern Munich? I don’t think so.
“I just don’t think it’s as an exciting proposition as moving to Man City was, put it that way.
“I’m sure he’d like to stay in the Premier League if he is to move at all – and move to a club capable of winning the league and Champions League.
“He’ll be flattered by the interest from Bayern – but I just can’t see him jumping out of his seat to go.”

Kane notched 27 goals and 10 assists in 50 outings during the 2021-22 campaign.
The striker is just three goals away from tying Wayne Rooney as England’s all-time top goalscorer with 53 strikes.
