Pundit issues ‘huge’ Jurgen Klopp sack claim as Liverpool ‘on the brink’
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is “unsackable” and will remain at the club next season.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the German’s future.
Liverpool fell 3-0 away at Wolves on Saturday (4 February), meaning they have lost four of their seven games across all competitions so far in 2023.

The Merseysiders are 10th in the Premier League after 20 games – 11 points adrift of a top-four finish.
Sources told Football Insider on Tuesday (7 February) that Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group will continue to back their under-fire manager no matter what.
McManus claims Klopp is “unsackable”.
“I don’t think there is any world in which Klopp gets sacked this season,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He is still the main man there, he’s a legend. Firstly, who do you get to replace him? Secondly, the players will hate it if he goes.
“So it’s a lose-lose situation for the owners. It’s not going well for him but I just think he’s unsackable. It’s the only thing that could make everything worse at Liverpool and they are on the brink of the worst season ever.
“There is every chance that Klopp sorts all of this during pre-season and Liverpool are back to being title contenders next season.
“Can you imagine how the fans would react if Klopp went now? There would be hell on. It would be a huge mistake.”

The Anfield club have held preliminary takeover talks with the £373billion-valued Qatar Investment Authority after FSG welcomed new investment in 2022.
Klopp is under contract until June 2026.
