Pundit issues ‘unbelievable’ Jarrod Bowen-Liverpool transfer claim
Jarrod Bowen is the perfect replacement for Sadio Mane if he leaves Liverpool this summer.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Mane’s future.
As reported by the Athletic on Wednesday (1 June), Mane, 30, is looking to leave Liverpool this summer as he heads into the final year of his contract.

As quoted by the Daily Mail (4 March) Klopp hailed Bowen, 25, as “unbelievable” ahead of 5 May’s game between Liverpool and West Ham.
Football Insider revealed on 13 January, Liverpool are continuing to keep close tabs on his performances ahead of a potential summer move.
Kenny claims Bowen would be the perfect replacement for Mane.
“Bowen has been unbelievable and now he’s got his first England call up,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That shows how good of a season he has had at West Ham.
“Every time I have watched him play he has done really well and looks head and shoulders above the other players.
“If that’s an option and Liverpool are interested, it would be huge. I think they were interested in January, then I would bet he’s the perfect replacement for Mane in my opinion.“

Bowen scored 12 goals and chipped in with 10 assists in the 2021-22 Premier League season as West Ham finished seventh.
Mane scored 16 Premier League goals as his side finished one point behind league-winners Manchester City.
