Pundit makes ‘shambolic’ Man United claim as ‘disgraceful’ stars blasted over training ground reveal
Noel Whelan has blasted any Manchester United player who has complained about training late under Ralf Rangnick.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted it would be “disgraceful” for any United star to “whinge” about the demands set by the German manager.
As reported by the Daily Mail on Tuesday (28 December), the United squad have struggled to adapt to training under Rangnick, with 5pm finishes one of the issues among the players.

The mood at the club’s Carrington training ground is reportedly very low.
Whelan insisted the players need to “knuckle down” after their “shambolic” performances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “They’re getting paid a lot of money to play football. The reason they’re training till five, six o’clock in the evening is because they’ve not being good enough.
“They know there have been real problems there and you need to work hard to get it right. Sometimes that means long days, because I’m pretty sure they weren’t doing it under Solskjaer.
“For Rangnick to get his point across, you’ve got to put that little bit extra in.
“To be whinging away like that, when people work a normal from eight o’clock in the morning till seven, eight o’clock at night, when you look at what people are doing the NHS and the hours they’re working, I find that a bit disgraceful.
“You’ve got to get knuckled down. Work hard, do what the manager wants, get better. Before he came in, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was manager, they were shambolic.”

As revealed by Football Insider today (Saturday, 1 January), Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo are at loggerheads in the dressing room, after failing to click both on and off the pitch.
The Red Devils currently sit sixth in the Premier League table.
