Pundit shares ‘big’ verdict on Leeds signing Brownhill after report
Josh Brownhill would not improve the Leeds United starting XI, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward insisted Leeds should look to sign ready-made starters and not fringe players.
TeamTALK reported on 18 August the Whites have made enquiries over Burnely midfielder Brownhill.

The Clarets apparently value the 25-year-old at £15million – £5million more than they paid Bristol City in January 2020.
The Englishman has made 45 Premier League appearances for Sean Dyche’s side since swapping Ashton Gate for Turf Moor.
Leeds are in the market for midfield reinforcements as they look to add cover and competition for Kalvin Phillips.
The Whites have lost eight of their 10 Premier League games without the England international since the beginning of last season.
Asked whether Brownhill would fit that bill, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Not really, no.
“He’s an OK player but he’s not going to make a big difference to a lot of sides.
“Burnley is probably the level that he’s at and he’s in and out of the side there anyway. He’s not starting every week.
“Not for me, no. If Leeds want to be pushing up the league they’ve got to look at better players.
“They want to get ready-made starters, not players who are on the bench for Burnley.”

Brownhill began his professional career with Preston North End before moving to Bristol City in July 2016 on a free transfer.
He made 148 appearances at Championship level before making the step up to the Premier League 20 months ago.
