24-year-old omitted in Murty 4-2-3-1: Rangers expected XI v Dundee
COMMENT
Rangers manager Graeme Murty is expected to make one change to his side on Saturday when they welcome Dundee to Ibrox on Saturday with January signing Jason Cummings likely to start ahead of Josh Windass against Neil McCann’s side.
After limping out of the 2-2 draw with Motherwell last weekend, 24-year-old Windass is expected to miss the Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee as the Gers look to get back to winning ways after failing to pick up a victory in their last three fixtures.
Wes Foderingham is likely to continue in goals behind a back four of James Tavernier, Bruno Alves, Russell Martin and Declan John.
Ahead of them, Greg Docherty and Graham Dorrans are expected to continue together in central midfield and control the tempo of the game much better against Dundee than they did against the Steelmen.
With Windass almost certainly missing, the Gers front four will probably look a little different with Cummings slotting into the number 10 role and Jamie Murphy and Daniel Candeias out wide.
Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos should continue to lead the line and will be desperate to add to his seventeen goals for the season so far and force his way into a place in his country’s World Cup squad this summer.
