Rangers fans react on Twitter as Kenny Miller starts v Hearts
By James Black
Rangers take on Hearts at Murrayfield and Graeme Murty has named Kenny Miller in his first starting XI since taking interim charge – and fans on Twitter are very pleased with the decision.
The 37-year-old’s return from the cold is one of two changes to the side from the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock, as confirmed by the club on their official Twitter account prior to kick off on Saturday.
Miller and Danny Wilson come in for the suspended Bruno Alves and injured Graham Dorrans.
Murty will take the reigns for the second time this year after Pedro Caixinha’s sacking on Thursday and going into the clash, the Gers find themselves on fourth in the Scottish Premiership but could – temporarily at least – leapfrog Motherwell with a win.
Miller has missed Rangers’ last four games after being banished from the first-team squad by Caixinha and fans are happy to see the veteran back in the side – with one tipping him for a hat-trick.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Miller is in his third spell at Ibrox and his Rangers career had looked over after his bust-up with Caixinha saw him forced into the Under-20’s squad.
Miller missed clashes with Hamilton, St. Johnstone, Motherwell and Kilmarnock after reportedly leaking details of a team meeting to a journalist in the wake of last month’s Old Firm defeat by Celtic.
Murty has worked closely with Miller over the last number of months with Miller assisting with the Under-20’s as he works towards his coaching badges.
In other Rangers news, Vladimir Weiss has delivered a surprise verdict on the sacking of Pedro Caixinha.
