'Highland League is his level' – Rangers fans tear into 24-yr-old after loss v Hibs

Rangers’ winning start to 2018 came to an end on Saturday afternoon after the Gers lost 2-1 to Hibernian at Ibrox – and fans were furious at attacker Josh Windass’ display against Neil Lennon’s side.
The 24-year-old has recently won over many of his doubters after a string of impressive performances in recent months for the Gers but the former Accrington ace was largely anonymous against Hibs.
After netting a hat-trick against Highland League minnows Fraserburgh, fans were hopeful Windass would carry that form into the clash with Hibs but were left sorely disappointed by the 24-year-old’s showing – with one saying the attacker was “non-existent.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

The result now leaves Rangers six points behind Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership with a game in hand on Derek McInnes’ side.
After Celtic fell to a surprise defeat at the hands of Kilmarnock earlier in the day, fans were hopeful the Gers could capitalise on the result and take a step closer to the Hoops in the race for the title.
Windass has scored nine times in 27 appearances for the Gers this season after a disappointing debut season in Scotland following his move north from Accrington in 2016.
The Gers next match is against Partick Thistle on Tuesday night in the Scottish Premiership.
