Neither player put a foot wrong against Aberdeen on Sunday in their only first-team appearance together this season.
Played together a bit towards the end of last season for both the first- and Under-20 teams and seem to have quite good chemistry on the pitch.
Wilson’s head knock against Aberdeen cut short the duo’s opportunity to impress together against the Dons but both done their chances no harm whatsoever.
Despite going off injured, Wilson took his goal really well and never looked troubled alongside Bates.
