Caixinha signed Cardoso for £1.3million from Vitoria in the summer but he has slipped well down the pecking order since Murty took charge – and for good reason.
The 23-year-old was forced to come off the bench in the defeat to Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday when David Bates was injured.
Cardoso put in a hapless display, proving that he is nowhere near good enough for a team like Rangers.
He simply has to go when the summer window opens, luckily the Gers may pocket a bit of a fee.
