A deadline day loan signing, John has impressed since coming into the starting XI after injury to captain Lee Wallace.
John has proven a more than capable deputy and has chipped in with a few goals.
The left-back has been attracting interest from Championship side Leeds recently – as exclusively revealed by Football Insider – after making a strong start to his spell in Scotland.
Could find himself played further forward when Wallace returns from injury after showing a real attacking prowess.
John’s Cardiff City deal ends in the summer so is playing for a new deal – either in Wales, Scotland or somewhere else.
