Rangers ‘won’t lower asking price’ for Alfredo Morelos after source’s transfer reveal – expert
Rangers will not be taken advantage of as they look to sell Alfredo Morelos this summer.
That’s according to former Hoops hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Colombian’s future.
An Ibrox source told Football Insider last week (7 April) that Rangers are braced for offers for Morelos, with one offer already in the pipeline.

The Glasgow giants are set to hold out for a £13million-plus fee despite the fact the striker will be into the final 12 months of his contract this summer.
Despite this, McAvennie insists Rangers won’t sell their star man for “bargain bucket” prices.
“I don’t care who you are, everyone has a price,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Nobody has come in for Morelos yet. If someone offers the right money, you’re off.
“That’s the way Rangers work. That’s the way almost every club works.
“Everyone has a price. Rangers haven’t sold anyone in the last couple of seasons.
“There are always links with Kent, he’s still here. Clubs might be looking to do a deal but Rangers won’t lower their asking price.
“That’s their right. That’s football. They won’t give him away at bargain bucket prices.
“The big thing is that he’s only got one year left and they won’t want to lose him for nothing.”

Morelos scored 19 goals in 42 total outings in the 2021-22 campaign.
The Colombian hitman is now out of action for the season due to a muscle injury that required surgery.
