Reportedly available for £16m: Why Tottenham must move for PL star to replace 22-year-old
Premier League form
Since completing a move Belgian giants Anderlecht in the summer of 2015, Mitrovic has endeared himself to the hearts of Toon fans.
Playing a prominent part in the Magpies’ fight against relegation towards the end of the 2015-16 season, the 27-time international found the back of the net nine times in 34 league games in a side that struggled in attack.
If Mitrovic was given 20 Premier League appearances and the chance to lead the line in Spurs’ cup competitions, it would be of no surprise if he could reach 20 goals during the 2017-18 season.
