‘Richarlison certain to leave Tottenham’ amid ‘David Moyes talks’

Richarlison is not seen as a part of the long-term plans for the future at Tottenham, according to the club’s former scout.

Mick Brown, who also worked at the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that the 27-year-old is now “certain” to leave this summer.

Everton are one of the clubs interested in a move to re-sign the Brazilian, who remains very highly-regarded on Merseyside despite his exit in 2022.

This comes after Brown told Football Insider that David Moyes will hold internal talks about Richarlison as they weigh up whether a return would be possible.

Meanwhile, he has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia after Football Insider exclusively revealed in January that Richarlison wants to leave Tottenham.

The forward is believed to have his eyes fixed on a move to the Saudi Pro League, but is interested in a return to Everton if they can reach an agreement.

Richarlison to quit Tottenham in summer transfer latest

Former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider in February that Richarlison is planning to quit Tottenham when the summer transfer window opens.

Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted that

Richarlison will certainly be leaving Tottenham this summer,” he told Football Insider.

“He’s had injury issues and all that, but even when he has played he hasn’t been good enough, and he’s not going to be part of their plans for the future.

“They see him as somebody who they could sell to make some room in the squad and a bit of money.

“From what I hear, he’s still very highly thought-of at Everton.

“They’ve been keeping an eye on his situation and feel he would improve their team.

“So from Tottenham’s point of view, if Everton want to make an offer for him, it’s one they’re going to listen to and one I think he would consider.”

Yves Bissouma update emerges amid Spurs clear-out

Richarlison is not the only player who could be leaving Tottenham, as a number of first-team stars are on the chopping block following a disappointing season.

Brown told Football Insider last month that Tottenham plan to accept offers for Yves Bissouma as he is no longer a part of Postecoglou’s long-term plans.

This comes after Football Insider revealed on 3 March that Tottenham will hold “crunch talks” with Bissouma about his place in the squad.

He will have just 12 months remaining on his current contract at Spurs come the summer, and no talks have been held about a new deal as things stand.
